LEDU Token Swap FAQ 2020

We created this FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) article to give you answers to the most common questions we get regarding the token swap. This FAQ prepares token holders for the swap so that they can have a smooth swapping process. Check out this FAQ and be better prepared for the swap.

How many tokens will be minted with the LEDU token swap?

The total supply will remain fixed at 362,983,094 like before. This matches exactly with the fixed supply on Coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/education-ecosystem/

What will be the circulating supply?

The circulating supply will remain the same: 217,789,857 LEDU. This exactly matches with the number on Coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/education-ecosystem/

Can I trade my LEDU tokens during the token swap?

No, you can’t. LEDU trading will be suspended on all exchanges (Dcoin, Latoken, Mercatox, Livecoin, and Idex).

Can I sit back and let my exchange conduct the token swap for me?

No, you can’t. You have to swap your tokens yourself

What should I do with my LEDU tokens on exchanges?

Move your LEDU tokens on exchanges to a private ERC wallet where you have complete control of the private keys.

Will I be asked to conduct KYC/AML during the token swap?

Most token holders will not be asked to conduct KYC/AML during the token swap. However, verification checks will be required for fraudulent addresses being tracked.

Can I conduct the swap for other people?

No third-party swapping will be allowed. Do yourself a favor and don’t make this mistake as you can lose all your tokens by attempting to swap tokens for third parties. If it is detected, all your addresses and tokens will be blocked from the token swap. Your tokens will be worthless and there will be no exception made. If some people ask you to conduct the swap for them, reject the offer.

Can I get my new tokens sent to a different address than I deposited from?

No, and no exception will be made. Tokens will be sent back to the same address.

What else should I do after sending my LEDU tokens to an ERC wallet address?

You don’t have to do anything else.

What will happen to my tokens if I miss the swap?

Your tokens will be worthless and there is nothing we can do to help you then. You are advised to send your tokens now when you still have time.

How does the token distribution work?

The token distribution is in full swing but will be conducted in batches. The first batch has been distributed to all addresses that swapped before Saturday, 15 February 2020.

Can I start moving or trading my new LEDU tokens?

The new LEDU tokens cannot be moved as the new smart contract has been intentionally paused.

I swapped before 15 February 2020 but I still do not see my new tokens. What is the matter?

If you swapped before 15 February 2020 but do not see your new tokens for the contract with an address with “bda091”, then it means that you need to complete KYC. Send a copy (jpg, png, or pdf) of your government-issued passport or ID card — showing the front and back sides — and proof of address (bank/credit card account statement or utility bill) to this email address: [email protected]. Your subject line should be the ETH address you used to send your tokens from.

How can I check if I received the new LEDU tokens?

If your LEDU ETH address is “0xd704585e5821f2c1e8fb7864b0fe727fe46e457b”, then just attach it at the end of this URL link, e.g.

What should I do if I see the new tokens on Etherscan on my address but it is not visible in my wallet?

Google online how to add new tokens in the wallet that you use. If, for example, you use MyEtherWallet, search for guides on how to add/manage tokens in MyEtherWallet. Then follow that guide to add the token. New Token Smart Contract address: “0xc741f06082aa47f93729070ad0dd95e223bda091”
